Central Data Management
The Central Data Management Project of the Biodiversity Exploratories provides the platform for data storage and information exchange between the different working groups. It aims at safeguarding the BE data, and enabling synthesis and data reuse. It manages and provides access to publicly available BE data.
Some of the our responsibilities include ensuring the smooth-running of the BExIS repository, providing user support in the use of BExIS for tasks such as data upload, data quality control, data search, field bookings etc., extending the functionalities of BExIS based on the requirements suggested by the user community and/or the state-of-the-art developments in biodiversity data management, and ensuring the use of BExIS by the Exploratories researchers/scientists. We also manage the publication of BE data and run the public data page.
