Hypotheses
H1: A species’ local establishment potential and performance can be predicted from parameters that describe the species’ realized niche.
H2: There are significant interactions between climate, land use intensity, competition intensity and mollusc herbivory.
H3: The climatic differences between Exploratory sites are reflected in differences in the species’ performance in the field greenhouse experiments.
H4: The species’ fundamental niches and realized niches are related to each other.
