21st Assembly of the Biodiversity Exploratories

Successful 21st Assembly and inspiring impressions of all projects.

As in previous years, the  BE-Assembly took place in the Harz Mountains in Wernigerode. In addition to insightful progress talks from all core and contributing projects and appealing poster sessions, three keynotes enriched us: Lisa Hülsmann (University of Bayreuth), Jörn Fischer (Leuphana University of Lüneburg) and Richard Bardgett (University of Manchester), as well as a presentation by Sina Grosskopf (University of Passau) in our Diversity Forum.

The event also acted as a platform for networking and meaningful conversations within the Biodiversity Exploratories. The regenerative exchange between participants not only strengthened personal relationships, but also helped to foster collaboration and team spirit throughout the project.

We are already looking forward with anticipation to the upcoming 22nd Assembly in 2025 and are eagerly awaiting further developments and new findings from the individual projects.
